E-Learning

MHRA

MHRA – The Medicines & healthcare products Regulatory Agency

I worked a 9 month contract producing a number of elearning products, some for the general public and some for in-house training.

These elearning products were then placed on a LMS, each with an assessment and certificate

I worked with content experts to produce modules on:

  • The Risks of using Corticosteroids
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Opioids
  • Antipsychotics
  • SSRI’s

You can sign up free to take this course at:

Register an account ensuring you select an ‘Offering’ of Medicines Modules and an ‘Area of Learning Interest’ of MHRA

Below are are number of screenshots for the Corticosteroids Module.

Adapt Learning and Mobile Learning

Screen Shot 2014-07-31 at 11.17.17Captivate is a great rapid development tool. It can convert SOME parts to HTML5 . What is needed is a framework where there is no conversion but generates compact HTML CSS and Javascript. Well…. I’ve just come across Adapt learning.

https://community.adaptlearning.org/

Its an open source project awaiting an authoring tool but looks very promising.

A great feature i think is the ‘Deep Scroll’. Here uses ineract with the content on mobile device just like they would with say Facebook
